Abigail joined Dobson, Mitchell & Allport in January 2011 and works in our commercial team.  

She has extensive experience in intellectual property, trade practices and commercial law.  She specialises in:

• licensing, protecting and commercialising intellectual property rights;
• assisting clients to manage and protect brands; 
• unfair trade practices and consumer protection issues;
• technology contracting; and
• media and entertainment commercial contracting and advice.

Prior to joining Dobson Mitchell & Allport, Abigail worked as a Senior Lawyer for a large Sydney law firm, where she advised clients in the telecommunications, media, technology, music and entertainment industries.  Most recently, she was the Corporate Counsel at the Australian Recording Industry Association/ Phonographic Performance Company of Australia Limited, where she was responsible for managing the commercial and intellectual property needs of each organisation.
