Audrey was admitted as a barrister & solicitor of the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 1981. She was a partner at her previous firm for 19 years and joined Dobson Mitchell & Allport as a full time consultant in 2006.

Audrey practises in civil litigation, specialising in contract disputes and insurance including property, personal injury, workers compensation claims, indemnity issues, medial negligence and also employment law. Audrey appears as counsel in tribunals, the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. Audrey is also trained in mediation and regularly represents clients in mediations and conciliations.

Audrey is a past board member/director of TGIO Limited, Australian National Railways Commission, Australian Women Lawyers Inc., Medical Council of Tasmania, Tasmanian Legal Aid Commission and Anglicare Tasmania. Audrey currently chairs the Law Society’s Employment & Equal Opportunity Committee and is the Chair of Hockey Tasmania Inc. Audrey is the Chancellor of the Anglican Diocese of Tasmania.
