Ekaterina graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2006 with a combined degree of law and arts, majoring in political science. She commenced working at Dobson Mitchell & Allport in August 2007. Ekaterina works in the commercial litigation group and is building her knowledge in the areas of workers compensation, compulsory third party insurance and debt recovery.

Ekaterina volunteers much of her time assisting the Greek community of Hobart. She is a Director on their executive board and is also an Estia committee member. This involves organising a yearly festival showcasing Greek culture and cuisine. Ekaterina has recently become the Tasmanian Representative of the World Council for Hellenics Abroad.
