James was admitted to practice in 2006 and joined Dobson Mitchell & Allport in 2009 after working at another law firm on the North West Coast of Tasmania.
James’ general area of practice is commercial law, including estate planning.
James is able to assist commercial and private clients with:
- Residential conveyancing;
- Business sales and acquisitions;
- Contract drafting and negotiation;
- Leasing, including general commercial, retail and residential tenancies;
- Subdivision, strata title and general property matters;
- Land Titles Office applications; and
- Estate planning, including the preparation of wills, powers of attorney and guardianship instruments.
